Hey people  I thought  I should  provide you some tips on Free For All . Free for all is a game of not only skill but mostly  being aware  . Halo in general is about weapon control so I will just say this before any tips are handed  out. CONTROL THE POWER WEAPONS AND TIME THEM. This is one of several  Halo Reach Tips you need to follow .

1.Fonzy once said that in FFA you should try to be the spectator more than the active player  . What the heck does that mean? This means instead of running  into 
man on man  battles you want to look around a lot. Listen for nearby battles and watch your motion sensor  .
When two spartans  get in a battle do your best to jump in the battle  and kill them both. 
The way you do this is to stay near a hot spot on the map but not in plain view . You wait for the battle and jump in out of nowhere. Easy double kills all day. This is easily the best advice in the world in a FFA. Stealing kills in FFA is good !

2. Play aggressive- FFA games are all about racking up kills as fast as possible. Your kd ratio does not matter that much when your  in a free for all . However when your dead you are wasting precious  seconds  and this is very important in FFA gametypes . So don’t  play dumb  just aggressive.

3. Grenades- A pre nade is when you think a enemy is going to come from a certain direction or there may be a player  is a specific  area or around a corner. Learn to time your nades with 
the appoaching  enemies. In Halo this is done real easy  by grenades being thrown at door ways  or 
lifts when you hear an enemy coming up the  lift. A good grenade makes your enemy one shot 
and most  of the time you will win that fight  . So throw grenades like mad when you think someone is coming .

4. Map Placement  – I don’t  advocate camping. By camping I mean hiding in a corner and sitting  for some newb to walk by. Map placement  and controlling an area that is different . On any map normally it is better to be higher than your  adversary  . Try and find high ground and control it . It is also better to play the edges of a map rather than the center  .On the outside  you have less angles at which you can be attacked . Try and find a high traffic spot  on the map with cover and ways of escape. Know which flanks can be rushed and have a plan of defense for each.

5. Death Cam – In most games you will get killed  at least a few times . When you do this is no time to relax . Your death cam will tell you where other players are. Click around on your directional  pad and find out where they are . When you spawn you should spawn close to  someone you saw on your cam . You should already have a good idea of how to kill them  and what weapon he has.
